The Sacred Heart / St. Dominic Food Pantry, formerly located at 80 Sherman Street in Portland, is reopening on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, in the chapel at Williston-Immanuel United Church (WIUC).

Everyone who needs food assistance is welcome.

Hours & Location

Distribution Hours: Tuesdays, 7:00–11:00 AM

Location: Chapel at Williston-Immanuel United Church
156 High Street, Portland, ME 04101

How to Find Us: Enter through the back door of the church off Deering Place and follow the arrows to the food pantry.

Food Distribution

The pantry provides grocery pickup for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity, including residents of Portland’s Parkside neighborhood and surrounding communities.

Food is distributed directly to visitors; this is not a shop-style pantry where patrons select items from shelves. Delivery is not available.

How to Donate

Your generosity helps keep the pantry stocked for our neighbors in need.

Food donations: We welcome nonperishable food items, including rice, pasta, flour, sugar, cooking oil, and dry milk.

Food donations may be dropped off on Tuesday mornings between 8:30 and 10:00 AM. You may also leave clearly marked donations in the Sacred Heart / St. Dominic or WIUC collection baskets.

Financial donations: To make a financial contribution, please visit the Sacred Heart / St. Dominic Food Pantry donation page.

Thank you for helping support our community!
